Croke Park Abseil

Share:
Education

Join us on Friday, May 27th, as we abseil 150ft from the roof of the Hogan Stand in Croke Park.

Right now, Plan Staff are on the ground in Ukraine in Poland, Moldova and Romania ensuring that where possible that children can get back into school, to provide them with some normality and safety.  Girls who are in school are also less likely to be exposed to dangers such as sexual exploitation, trafficking and domestic labour.

Children and youth who have fled conflict have often witnessed unimaginable destruction, with little idea of when they will see family, friends and their homes again. They face considerable risks to their personal health, safety and wellbeing. Going to school has significant emotional and psychological benefits.

All funds raised from this event will go towards Plan International’s work to advance girls’ rights and to ensure that children have access to quality education, and grow up safe and free from violence.

It doesn’t matter if you’re an abseil novice or a pro, expert guides from adventure.ie will be on hand to ensure your safety and make sure you are have some fun at the same time.

*Please note: You must be over 18 years-old to take part in the abseil.
