George has a background in water and sanitation programmes, as well as project management. In previous roles, he was a WASH Cluster Coordinator in Iraq and has worked on WASH projects as both a PM and a coordinator. He has worked in Haiti, Sierra Leone and Iraq, and before joining the humanitarian sector, worked in Dubai as a civil engineer. His hobbies include cycling, music and occasional home brewing.
